This is where we tell you the meanings behind some of your favorite Aisle Four songs.

White Lies (Ferguson) - This song although very upbeat, catchy and fun, is not exactly a "happy song" many people misunderstand this song as some song written about losing the girl... however it is nothing like that... the song is about spending time with a good friend of mine that I used to spend every waking hour with... as time went by i started to realize how poorly i was getting treated by him... i was being lied to betrayed etc... so one day i decided to walk away from him and all the memories concerned with him... after sometime people started talking about how it seemed like i wasn't phased by losing him at all. In reality though, i felt lost, alone, and broken. This was a guy that taught me everything and suddenly he was just gone. The chorus can be translated in more than one way, in a sense if you lose someone in your family its hard to move on when the only thing you know how to do is live with them... hence the chorus... the verses are just a look at how i feel now after everything has happened, despite what people see it as

One For The Road (Magdaleno) - This song is a story about a boy saying goodbye to the girl he loves as she heads back home miles away.  I wrote this song after having to say farewell to a girl I had liked back in Junior High as she lived a few cities away from me.   I only got to see her when she visited her cousin (my neighbor and friend)  for the weekend.  It isn't exactly based on our relationship, but I got the idea for the song from that.

Off And On (Ferguson) -  This song... is about losing the girl and wanting her back. The song is about a guy that is crazy about this girl but the girl keeps breaking his heart and then wanting him back.  The words are describing how he wants nothing more than to be around her, He wants to be with her, but at the same time whenever he is with her he has this fear that, that day he is with her will be the last, and once she finally says goodbye for good his whole world crumbles... yes its a sappy love song :)

It's Gonna Be All Right (Magdaleno) - This song deals with the issue of divorce.  It's a story about a young boy and his parents are going through a rough time, how he sees the situation, and how it has affected his life.  Throughout the song, it seems like the boy feels a sense of hope with the words, "Everything Is Gonna Be All Right," however, they are immediately followed with thje reality behind the matter, "That's What You Tell Yourself, As You Cry Alone At Night."  This one is really for the kids who have experienced this situation.  It's my way of saying your not alone, I know what it's like and hey, once everything has hit rock bottom, they have only one way to go...up.

One True Line (Toledo) - This song explains how special this girl i like means to me.   How I love everything about her and if I had the chance, would go see her everyday no matter how far away she was.  It also explains that even if things never worked out between us as far as relationship status, I would still consider her one of my best friends no matter what we went through.

That's All (Magdaleno) - Did you ever make a mistake you wish you could take back?  Do you ever think about what maybe would have happened, had you been a little more considerate or responsible?  This song is about a guy who does a pretty bad job at being in a relationship and realizes all the dumb mistakes he's made.  So after his revelation, he's now looking to the girl he loves and asking for one thing.  A second chance, that's all.

Sub-Order-Nation (Magdaleno) - It's a sad and cruel world we live in.  It may not be pretty but it's the truth.  This song is about a transition that a person goes through once they really become a part of this world, when they remove their rose-colored glasses and see the world we've created for what it really is.  In short, it's a about the end of innocence.  It's one of the first songs I ever wrote so I hope you guys like it.

A Necessary Evil (Magdaleno) - There are a lot of war songs out there and this is one of them.  When I decided to write this song, I wanted the words to be powerful, and the song to be a journey, an experience.  A lot of times, songs about war stress things like stupid reasons that people go to war, or how it affects the home, and other things like that.  I didn't want this song to be like that.  I didn't want some song with nothing but anti-war ravings.  This song, whether it seems like it or not, is neither pro- or anti- war.  It simply is a portrayal of how it is on the battlefield.  Because whether your are against it or not, the same visions and thoughts come to mind when you think about war.  It is sad, it is violent, it is unmerciful, and most of all, it truly is a necessary evil.  Humans have never been peaceful creatures, and I doubt they ever will be.  This song is the story of a dying soldier and his memories of the battle he has experienced, both physically and mentally.  Like I said, this isn't bias to a certain cause or country.  This is my masterpiece, explaining the hardships of war.  It's not about if it is right or wrong, just that it does happen.  And I'm sure for many, it happens the way it does in this song.   This isn't for the people, or the politicians.  This is for the men and women everywhere, who have made the ultimate sacrifice for what they believed in.  For they are truly brave, truly admirable, and truly in my heart, because they all knew as well that sometimes, it is a necessary evil.

Loaded (Magdaleno) - Okay, this song is kind of a weird one.  It was supposed to be based on a film, but that never turned out.  It doesn't really have a meaning to it.  It's just one of those songs that gets you driven and pumped.  And I think that's maybe why it stands out from our other songs, because its not deep or beautiful.  It's just fun, fast, and loud.  A real crowd pleaser I think.

This is Me(Ferguson)- This song i think is pretty self  explanitory. Its about someone who is going through a lot of hardtimes, family, friends, life whatever it may be.  Its about how he tries so hard not to feel this way but there is so much pressure weighing down on his life that he just never breaks free.  Its about how he puts on this fake smile in front of everyone but on the inside this is how he feels, and the only thing he really knows how to do is pretend he is okay but really he wants to end it all... The song doesn't state whether or not he dies in the end but thats the beauty of it... you never know if he is okay so if you are someone who has faced this or know someone who has faced it, it leaves you with this empty feeling and you feel disgusted with yourself. The song is not supposed to promote suicide, its supposed to be a look inside of someone, to show you how they feel and show you that life really does get this bad sometimes. There are a million songs out there about suicide, but  i believe this one is good because it just says it with the opening line, it doesn't try to sugarcode it, its just blunt and to the point. Its supposed to hit home.  This was the very first song we wrote as a band and I am very proud of it.

Skyline (new song) (Ferguson)- In March of this year i lost one of my best friends, and someone that was really close to me to a drunk driving accident.  The song is about how, she was not the one driving, yet she was still taken from us way too soon. How, the guy driving the car made a terrible mistake and now he has to live with the pain, but somehow its not enough.  Its also about how i have to be the one there for her sister who i am also very close with. Its about how i am just falling apart and wishing for her back, yet somehow i am the stronger one... in other words, its about the loss of someone you love and trying to be strong and not give up.
